Welcome to East Road Massage Therapy. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Information

East Road Massage Therapy provides massage and wellness services aimed at improving the health and well-being of our clients. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including appointments, payments, and interactions with our therapists.
2. Appointments
Booking: Appointments can be made online, via phone, or in person. To secure your desired time, we recommend booking in advance.Cancellations:

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled session fee.

No-show appointments will be charged the full session price.

Late Arrivals:

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. The full price will still apply.
3. Client Health Information
Disclosure: Clients are required to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns before treatment. This includes, but is not limited to, allergies, chronic conditions, pregnancy, and recent surgeries.
Responsibility: It is the client's responsibility to inform the therapist if anything changes regarding their health, including any discomfort or pain during the session.
Medical Advice: Our services are not a substitute for medical care. Please consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new treatment regimen.
4. Payment Payment
Methods: We accept credit/debit cards, cash, digital payments.
Pricing: Prices are subject to change. Any changes in pricing will be communicated before the session.
Refunds: Once a session has been completed, no refunds will be provided.
Refunds may be offered in the case of errors or service issues, at our discretion.
5. Therapist Conduct
Professionalism: All therapists at East Road Massage Therapy maintain the highest level of professionalism. Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the session and future bookings.
Client Comfort: We aim to ensure a comfortable and relaxing environment. If at any point during your session you feel uncomfortable, please inform your therapist immediately.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
Client Records: We maintain the confidentiality of your personal and medical information. Your records are only accessible to authorised staff members and are used solely for providing your treatment.
Data Protection: We adhere to applicable data protection laws and take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of your personal information.
7. Health and Safety
Hygiene: We adhere to strict hygiene standards and ensure that all massage equipment, linens, and facilities are clean and sanitised.
COVID-19 or Other Health Concerns: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic or any other public health concerns, we may implement additional health protocols, including the use of face masks, sanitizing, and social distancing.
These protocols are subject to change based on governmental guidelines.
8. Liability
Assumption of Risk:
By participating in any massage therapy sessions, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved in physical treatments, which may include soreness, bruising, or aggravation of underlying conditions.
Limitation of Liability: East Road Massage Therapy and its staff are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your participation in our services, except where required by law.
9. Gift Vouchers
Validity: Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Non-Transferable: Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost or Stolen Vouchers: East Road Massage Therapy is not responsible for lost or stolen gift vouchers.
10. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated terms will take effect immediately upon posting.

By booking an appointment with East Road Massage Therapy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Terms & Conditions - the basics
Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner.
